  • With an outlook toward electric golf carts in the coming years, Kinetic Green Energy & Power Solutions Ltd, has partnered with Lamborghini in Nov 2021, to develop and sale Italian-designed and India-made solar golf carts across the world. The sales of these vehicles are expected to go live in 2022.
  • In March 2021, Simolo Customs Ltd. of Canada had released a new line of street-legal electric golf cart for the Canadian market with such high numbers of golf courses and following the increase in demand for electric golf carts.

  • By the end of 2021, United Kingdom was home to more than 3,101 golf courses, providing active golfing activities and related services including golf carts.
  • Spain recorded a total estimate of 405 golf courses and driving ranges across the country in 2021.

  • In July 2021, STAR EV Brand announced its plans to expand its operations in Greenville County through an USD 8.7 million investment. The company aims to raise brand recognition to a new level in the global market through this expansion.
  • In June 2021, E-Z-GO, a Textron Specialized Vehicles business, announced its new vehicle, E-Z-GO Liberty, four forward-facing seats in a compact, golf-car-sized footprint. It is powered by Samsung SDI lithium-ion battery system.
