- December 2022: The Asian Development Bank (ADB) signed a EUR 10.8 million (USD 11.2 million) facility agreement with the Bangladeshi manufacturer of fashion denim, Envoy Textiles Limited, to support and finance the purchase and installation of energy-efficient spinning machinery and other equipment. This move is expected to enhance sustainable textile production and generate local jobs. The proceeds of the loan will be used to fund a second yarn spinning unit at Envoy's manufacturing plant in Jamirdia, Bangladesh.
- March 2022: The American Apparel and Footwear Association (AAFA) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA). The two groups will explore opportunities and work together to increase trade access for Bangladesh to the US market, improve purchasing practices, build on the great work already done by the Bangladeshi industry on sustainability, and expand the strong partnership between the US and Bangladeshi industries.

- August 2024: Eckert & Ziegler and Telix Pharmaceuticals Limited (Telix) announced a significant multi-year agreement. Under this contract, Eckert & Ziegler will act as the European contract manufacturing organization (CMO) for Telix's ProstACT GLOBAL Phase III study. The system has improved urban planning and management by eliminating heavy-duty collection vehicles and bulky waste storage containers on the streets. From an environmental perspective, it prevents approximately eight tonnes of carbon emissions annually.

- Febuary 2023, Saudi’s MODON announces USD 1.1bn textile investments. These investments are distributed over 125 industrial contracts in 19 industrial cities, covering a total area of more than one million square meters. According to Al-Argoubi, the textiles and men’s supplies sector is experiencing high growth in the Kingdom.
- October 2022 - Nykaa enters the Gulf nations through its first global partnership with Apparel Group. The Apparel Group of Dubai will hold 45% of the company's shares, while Nykaa will control 55% of the partnership's shares. The Indian cosmetics and clothing store Nykaa recently announced a partnership with the Apparel Group, a fashion and lifestyle retailer with headquarters in Dubai, to expand its presence in the GCC (Gulf Cooperation Council) nations.
- May 2023: The Malaysian textile industry should collaborate with manufacturers from China to transform local textile production processes and systems through digitalization and automation in order to boost productivity and increase revenue, said the Malaysian Textile Manufacturers Association (MTMA).
- March 2022: Toray Industries, Inc. unveiled Toyoflon, a low-friction polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) with a property to resist friction and be used in high-strength textiles. According to Toray studies, the slide's durability is 25 times greater than its current counterparts, and friction has decreased by more than 50%. Due to its performance advantages, increased surface pressure, and ability to be smaller and lighter, the new textile is expected to witness a rise in adoption.

- September 2023: In order to secure the supply of End-of-life mattress foams, Evonik entered into an agreement with Remondis Group, one of the world's most prominent recyclers. As Evonik develops its chemical recycling process to the next level, this cooperation would be beneficial for it. In the production of new mattresses, it is possible to recover core components of polyurethane foam and use them as premium-quality block-building materials with Evonik's innovative material and hydrolysis technology. The recycling process is currently being tested at a pilot plant in Hanau and will be tested at a larger demonstration plant in the future.
- November 2023: Veolia worked alongside the Sultanate of Oman and its partner TotalEnergies to promote this transition to clean, renewable energy, with the inauguration of the largest solar power plant on a desalination plant in Oman. - November 2023: Averda, the leading end-to-end waste management and recycling company in emerging markets, and King Abdullah University of Science of Technology (KAUST), a graduate research university in Saudi Arabia, announced the signing of a new contract for a waste management facility and services that will provide sustainable waste management solutions for the University, with zero-waste goals projected by 2025. Averda will manage all aspects of solid and hazardous waste, including recycling, sorting, waste transfer, and disposal.
December 2023: The Accelerating Circularity Initiative was granted USD 1.5 million worth of funding from the Walmart Foundation, which will be used to scale up the new Building Circular Systems program. The funds will contribute to the development of the early stages of the program, which have so far shown the technical feasibility of textile-to-textile recycling systems.
March 2023: Kelheim Fibres, a manufacturer of viscose, collaborated with Recycling Atelier Augsburg to produce quality products from recycled materials. The aim of this collaboration is to ensure that the fibers produced by Kelheim Fibres are manufactured from recycled wood, which it claims will further tighten the loop.
