- November 2022: Cornell University in the United States rolled out its PhytoPathol Boots (PPB), which was deployed to four grape breeding programs across the United States. These autonomous robots were rolled through vineyards, using computer vision to gather data on the physiological state of each grapevine, allowing breeders and growers to evaluate their vineyards leaf by leaf, in real-time, down to the chemical level.
- March 2022: Two newly released grape varieties, Sugrafiftytwo, an ultra-early ripening green seedless grape variety with a sweet Muscat flavor and firm, crisp texture, and Sugrasixty, a midseason ripening red variety with large berries and a tropical aroma with overtones of mango, were developed collaboratively between Cornell AgriTech and Sun World International, a global fruit genetics and licensing company.
- April 2024: Silver Bay Seafoods acquired Trident Seafoods’ Ketchikan processing facility. This strategic move enhances Silver Bay’s capacity to support salmon fisheries in the Southeast region.
- December 2023: Maruha Nichiro Corporation merged its consolidated subsidiaries, Marine Access Corporation and Maruha Nichiro Retail Service Co., Ltd. The merger led to the integration of the tuna fish processing business by constructing a larger processing facility. This has expanded the production capacity of tuna fish products.

- November 2022: Dabur India Limited launched Dabur Vedic Tea, a premium black tea that contains 30+ ayurvedic herbs that provide health benefits and boosts immunity. The product contains herbs like Tulsi, Ginger, Cardamom, and others.
- November 2022: Tata Consumer Products expanded its green tea portfolio with the launch of Tetley Green Tea with tulsi flavor. Green tea improves immunity and is rich in vitamin C.
- July 2022: CVC Capital Partners Fund VIII completed the purchase of Ekaterra, the tea business owned by Unilever. A cash-free, debt-free sale of Ekaterra was agreed upon between Unilever and CVC in November 2021 for EUR 4.5 billion (USD 4.83 billion).

- November 2021: Horizon Flowers NZ, a producer, processor, and exporter of flowers in the Netherlands, acquired a freehold interest in 41.5 hectares adjoining its current bulb processing facility for a USD 1.6 million investment in the Southland tulip business. The investment is likely to increase its exports to North America and Europe and enhance its processing facility's viability by securing the land to supply the bulbs.
