- September 2023: PetroChina, a leading oil and gas company based out of China, announced its acquisition of an electric vehicle (EV) charging firm, Potevio New Energy Co Ltd. It is to establish its brand presence in the electric vehicle charging market across China. It was estimated that by the end of 2021, Potevio operated 50,000 charging points in more than 50 Chinese cities.
- June 2023: The Chinese government reaffirmed its position to expand charging facilities along the country's expressways for new energy vehicles (NEVs) and indicated that the authorities were successful in installing 18,590 charging stations across highways in the country. Further, authorities stated that 27,000 parking spots were identified that will be reserved solely for installing electric vehicle charging stations across the country.
- November 2022: Audi announced that the Audi premium charging stations would be available to customers in China as part of the "Vorsprung 2030 China Strategy." By the end of 2022, 20 stations were installed in major cities such as Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, and Shenzhen. More cities and locations will be added in the future.

- March 2024: Hyster Company announced an agreement to provide APM Terminals with 10 battery-powered terminal tractors for their location at the Port of Mobile in Alabama. The electric terminal tractors, which are scheduled to be delivered in 2024, are part of a USD 60 million investment in port equipment electrification pilots by APM Terminals.
- October 2023: International Tractors Limited (ITL) made noteworthy strides in the global market by unveiling three new series of Solis tractors. This expansion aligns with ITL's vision of providing cutting-edge agricultural equipment worldwide. Among the new offerings is the SV Solis electric tractor, a groundbreaking addition to the lineup. This electric tractor boasts a rapid charging capability, allowing it to be charged from 0 to 100% in an impressive 3 to 3.5 hours. - May 2023: Italian-American construction and agriculture firm CNH is set to make a significant investment of up to USD 50 million in the Indian farm machinery sector this year. The strategic move aims to strengthen CNH's presence in the Indian agricultural landscape. As part of this investment, the company was gearing up to launch a robust 105HP tractor in May 2023, catering to the diverse needs of Indian farmers. This development underscores CNH's commitment to contributing to the modernization of agriculture in India through innovative machinery solutions.
- September 2022: KAMAZ PJSC announced its plans to expand the model range of gas vehicles. KAMAZ continued to carry out plans for the development of gas-powered vehicles. This includes the completion of K4 generation vehicle production, the modernization of K3 generation vehicles using an alternative component base, and the development of K5 generation vehicles. The company's plans include bringing the most popular LNG-powered KAMAZ-54901 long-haul tractors, as well as CNG-powered transport vehicles, to the market.
- August 2022: Hon Hai Technology Group (Foxconn) signed a contract manufacturing agreement with Zimeno Inc. (dba Monarch Tractor) to manufacture next-generation autonomous tractors and battery packs at the Foxconn Ohio facility in Lordstown.
- July 2022: In the 4x2 Tractor segment, Ashok Leyland introduced the AVTR 4220 with 41.5T GCW and the AVTR 4420 with 43.5T GCW. These tractors have an H6 Engine - a 6-cylinder engine with i-Gen6 technology, GCW options of 41.5T and 43.5T, and a suitable two-axle trailer.
- September 2022: Mahle GmbH (Mahle) unveiled its CO2-neutral powertrain technologies for commercial vehicles during the IAA Transportation event in Hanover, Germany. The presentation included the introduction of a novel power cell unit that comprises pistons, piston rings, conrods, pins, a cylinder liner, and a high-pressure impactor designed for crankcase flushing.
- February 2022: Cummins Inc. announced the expansion of its leading powertrain platforms to encompass a diverse range of lower-carbon fuel options. These expanded platforms will also incorporate shared architectures for engine blocks and other essential components, resulting in tailored solutions aimed at enhancing fuel efficiency.
- February 2022: Tenneco Inc. disclosed plans for a merger with Pegasus Merger Co., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Pegasus Holdings III LLC. This merger was intended to increase Tenneco Inc.'s ownership stake in Federal-Mogul India, a company specializing in the production of cylinder liners, pistons, piston rings, and various other products. Following the merger of Pegasus Merger Co. and Tenneco Inc., Pegasus Holdings announced that it would hold a 74.98% stake in Federal-Mogul India.
- April 2023: At Auto Shanghai 2023, Lexus celebrated the world premiere of the all-new Lexus LM. Beginning with China's key luxury MPV market, the company announced that the second-generation LM will be launched in over 60 countries worldwide. The 6- and 7-seat versions focus on a spacious feel and excellent visibility, with expansive trim and overhead consoles throughout the cabin to create a personal feel for all passengers.
- May 2024: Volkswagen AG’s Audi and China’s SAIC Motor Corp. Ltd partnered to work on a new vehicle platform and three new pure electric models to launch in the Chinese market. The three BEV models will cover B and C segments to focus on China’s fast-growing electric vehicle market. These models are expected to be launched in 2025.
- March 2024: GN ESPACE entered the European motorhomes market. The company offers cookers, hobs, ovens, and stoves for RVs and motorhomes.
- November 2023: DER Touristik launched a new Internet Booking Engine for motorhome travel. It is called the camperboerse.com. The booking engine was developed by ISO Travel Solutions GmbH.
- September 2023: Swift announced the addition of a new model, Ascari 384, into its Ascari motorhome fleet. Ascari 384 is a three-berth model with raised fixed twin beds at the rear, or a double bed can be made with the optional Duvalay infill cushion. The new model also offers external amenities, including a BBQ point, a cold water shower point, and a 240V socket.
- January 2023: DANA Cardanes opened a new USD 21 million plant in Querétaro, Mexico, with a production line to make Toyota components. The first production line, which already began with 110 employees, was expected to be joined by two more lines later in 2023 for a total annual production of 545,000 units with 300 employees. Alejandro Sánchez Alvarado, Operations Director at DANA Cardanes, explained that three production lines are being installed in the new 917-square-meter facility, where Cardan shafts (drive shafts) will be manufactured for use in Toyota trucks.
- February 2024: JTEKT developed an ultra-compact product series covering Differential (JUCD), Ball Bearing (JUCB), Conductive Ball Bearing (JUEB), and Oil Seal (JUCS) for eAxle size and weight reduction.
- April 2023: Modern Automotives became the first Indian company to receive approval for deliveries of Differential Pinion Shafts to BMW AG Munich for the electric powertrain. The order anticipates delivering 2.5 million units by 2034.
- July 2023: Mercedes-Benz introduced the all-new AMG performance version of its GLC SUV. The powertrain is designed and built in Germany at the Affalterbach plant.
- June 2023: Lucid Group Inc. announced a technology partnership with Aston Martin to provide Aston Martin with Lucid-engineered and manufactured electric powertrain technology to power future Aston Martin battery electric vehicles (BEV). It has an ultra-twin motor drive unit, battery technology, and the Wunderbox, Lucid Motors onboard charging unit. It will contribute to introducing the first pure electric Aston Martin model in 2025. Aston Martin's all-new in-house Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) platform will be built around access to Lucid's current and future powertrain and battery technology.
- May 2024: Volvo Group and Daimler Truck collaborated to digitally transform heavy-duty commercial vehicles using software-defined technology. They are establishing a joint venture to create a unified software-defined vehicle platform and a specialized truck operating system for the next generation of commercial vehicles.
- May 2024: Isuzu Motors Limited collaborated with Gatik AI Inc. in California to advance the growth of autonomous driving technology in North America. As part of the collaboration, Isuzu is making a substantial investment of USD 30 million in Gatik. This investment aims to establish a robust partnership between the two companies as they work toward developing mobility services centered on level 4 autonomous driving technology.
- April 2024: DAF Trucks launched PACCAR Connect, an advanced online fleet management platform that offers convenient access and seamless integration with existing third-party software. With every new DAF XB, XD, XF, XG, and XG+ model, 10 years of PACCAR Connect is now a standard feature.
- August 2023: BRP Inc. extended Can-Am's side-by-side lineup by introducing four new models for the 2024 model year. The new models include the Maverick X rcTurbo RR, Commander MAX X mr1000R, Commander MAX XT 700, and four-seat versions. The Maverick X3 RS Turbo has been introduced as the most affordable mid-hp 72" side-by-side in the Maverick lineup.
- August 2023: Polaris Inc. debuted its latest invention during the 2023 Summer Polaris Dealer Meeting in Nashville, Tennessee. The Polaris RANGER XD 1500 is the industry's first utility side-by-side featuring a 1500 cc 3-cylinder engine for increased power and Punch Powertrain's cutting-edge CVT technology to make difficult work simpler and last longer.
