• May 2024: Inmarsat Maritime, a Viasat company, introduced NexusWave, a comprehensive connectivity service. NexusWave utilizes a 'bonded' multi-dimensional network to provide high-speed connectivity, unlimited data, global coverage, and a robust 'secure by design' infrastructure. As a fully managed service from a single provider, NexusWave integrates multiple high-speed networks in real time. These include Global Xpress (GX) Ka-band, low-Earth orbit (LEO) services, and coastal LTE, with an additional L-band layer for enhanced resiliency. This combination ensures fast, always-on connectivity. NexusWave features an enterprise-grade firewall, a security measure trusted by global enterprises and governments.
• April 2023: A collaborative effort between the Satellite Technology and Research Center (STAR) at the National University of Singapore's College of Design and Engineering (NUS CDE) and A*STAR's I2R has resulted in the successful launch of an advanced microsatellite for maritime communications from the Satish Dhawan Space Center in Sriharikotta, India.

• February 2024: Lynk Global Inc. and Turkcell announced a partnership to launch initial Sat2Phone services utilizing Lynk's innovative "cell-towers-in-space." This collaboration aims to enhance network resiliency and mobile coverage across Turkey, benefiting the local population, businesses, and visitors.
• February 2024: At the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2024, Turkcell, Turkey's technology leader, entered significant partnerships with Huawei, a global leader in information and communication technology, in three key areas. Under the agreement, Turkcell and Huawei will collaborate on projects aimed at advancing 5.5G, green technologies, and next-generation networks supported by artificial intelligence.

• April 2024: Qualcomm launched a suite of products with a new ultra-low-power Wi-Fi SoC dubbed QCC730. The company said this new Wi-Fi SoC represents a new category of silicon platforms that would compete with bluetooth for battery-operated IoT devices and across a range of market segments. The new chip operates at 88% lower power consumption compared to previous generation chips.
• February 2024: Wipro Ltd and Nokia Corporation collaboratively introduced a private 5G wireless solution aimed at helping enterprises scale their digital transformation endeavors. Initially, this offering will cater exclusively to customers within the manufacturing, energy, utilities, transportation, and sports entertainment sectors.

• November 2023 - Throughout the UK, localities were aided in adopting advanced wireless technologies and enhancing their digital connectivity, including drones to monitor livestock and crops, smart systems to decrease congestion, and moveable 5G networks to allow super-fast live programs from remote locations. The ten multi-local authority zones across all four parts of the UK will obtain a share of EUR 36 million (USD 38.95 million) as they develop into 5G Innovation Regions (5GIRs). The capital will drive the adoption and development of advanced wireless technologies, including 5G, ensuring groups in cities, towns, and rural areas fully benefit from the benefits advanced digital technologies and wireless connectivity can provide and attract commercial investment to develop the economy.
• August 2023 - Fujitsu announced the new millimeter-wave chip for 5G that supports multibeam multiplexing, allowing up to four beams to be multiplexed by a single millimeter-wave chip for the radio units of 5G base stations. The development was a crucial part of the "Research and Development Project of the Enhanced Infrastructures for Post-5G Information and Communication Systems" commissioned by Japan's New Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organization (NEDO).

• March 2024: NEC Indonesia announced that it had signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Telkom Indonesia to collaborate on developing smart cities in the new capital city of Ibu Kota Nusantara (IKN) and other cities in Indonesia. Under the MoU, Telkom Indonesia and NEC agreed to formulate a strategy, create a roadmap, design the architecture, and develop an implementation plan for smart city projects in Nusantara.
• January 2024: Aviat Networks Inc., a provider of wireless transport and access solutions, announced a strategic collaboration with PT Smartfren Telecom Tbk. This partnership was established to offer high-speed, ultra-reliable wireless connectivity, including private wireless networks for indoor and outdoor environments. Additionally, the collaboration aims to deliver industry digitalization and automation services to private network clients throughout Indonesia.

• March 2024: ServiceNow deepened its collaboration with NVIDIA, focusing on delivering industry-specific GenAI for telcos. Their initial offering, called Now Assist for Telecommunications Service Management (TSM), harnesses NVIDIA AI on the Now Platform, streamlining AI-driven and automated processes, especially in critical telco use cases like network management assurance.
• February 2024: MYCOM OSI unveiled enhanced features for its Experience Assurance and Analytics (EAA) Service Assurance suite. These upgrades aim to expedite identifying, diagnosing, and resolving network issues on mobile and fixed lines.

• June 2023: Kymeta announced its partnership with low Earth orbit (LEO) satellite communications company OneWeb launch of Kymeta's electronically steered Peregrine u8 LEO terminal, which is now commercially available, becoming the first flat panel antenna to serve the maritime market on OneWeb's LEO network.
• March 2023: IntellianTechnologies, one of the global providers of multi-constellation, feature-rich, future-proof satellite user terminals and communications solutions, announced that it is opening a new Advanced Development Center (ADC) in Maryland, USA, and situated with many key satellite network partners close by, the ADC is the main design and engineering hub for Intellian'sflat panel antenna and terminal technologies. With ever-increasing interest from enterprise, government, and maritime customers for phased array antennas, the development of this product portfolio is a key growth and expansion for Intellian.

• November 2023 - Motorola Solutions announced the ring the opening bell at the New York Stock Exchange, celebrating its continued, purposeful transformation centered on safety and security. The company is announcing its new brand narrative, ‘Solving for safer,’ which highlights its sharpened focus on solving for safer communities, safer schools and safer businesses. 
• May 2023 - Airbus and Cellnex have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to explore collaboration in business and mission-critical communications.The MoU will be used to explore joint opportunities around mission- and business-critical Communications in different countries around Europe. Through this agreement, Airbus will be able to further address communication needs on key verticals such as public safety agencies, airports, healthcare, utilities and energy in various European countries. 

• June 2023: EntelChile announced the launch of a 5G network on the island of Rapa Nui. Through this launch, the island will achieve significant advancements in its telecommunications infrastructure. Due to its unique geographical location, the island was dependent on advanced satellite-based internet connectivity with capacities lower than fiber optics. However, introducing the 5G network represents a major leap forward in terms of technological capabilities and connectivity options for the island. Moreover, Entelhas installed two 5G antennas as part of the second phase of its 5G spectrum project, which will offer over 1.5 million customers the opportunity to experience the benefits of 5G technology.
• April 2023: Chilean regulator Subtelgranted Claro the provisional authorization to offer commercial 5G services through its 3.5 GHz spectrum. Earlier, the company was not able to launch a 5G offering in Chile as the 3.5GHz band was restricted to fixed wireless use. However, this limitation was overturned, making 5G a possibility for Claro in the country.

• November 2022 - Saab announced a contract for the design, manufacturing, and maintenance of two SIGINT ships for the Polish Ministry of Defense's procurement authority, the Armament Agency. The agreement is now in existence because all requirements have been satisfied. As a result, Saab has now recorded an order intake worth about SEK 6.7 billion.
• June 2022 - Elbit Systems Ltd. announced that the company had been awarded a contract to supply an Electronic Warfare (EW) solution to international customers for USD 70 million. Under the agreement, Elbit Systems would provide ground-based EW and Signal Intelligence (SIGINT) units equipped with Electronic Support Measures and Counter Measures as well as Command and Control systems.
