• In May 2022, GF Casting Solutions, a division of GF, Schaffhausen (Switzerland), and the leading light-metal castings and assemblies solutions provider Bocar Group, Mexico City (Mexico), signed an agreement to offer a specialized range of products and services worldwide. The objective of the collaboration is to bring higher value to the customers by combining the capabilities of two leading players in the market for high-pressure die casting components.
• In January 2022, Jingcheng Gongke Automotive Systems Co., Ltd. Die-casting Branch, together with LK Group. In "Integrated Body Structural Die Casting Technology Forum and Signing Ceremony for Strategic Cooperation Projects," to discuss new materials and technologies such as integrated die casting, lightweight design of body structure, and heat-free structural parts in automobile manufacturing industry, and strategically build an industrial innovation cooperation ecosystem.
• In December 2021, Nissei ASB Machine Co. Ltd., Tokyo, entered a memorandum of understanding to form a partnership with injection molding machine (IMM) and extruder maker Shibaura Machine Co. Ltd., Tokyo, to work in emerging markets.
• In February 2021, Nantong Jiangzhong Photoelectricity Co. Ltd Installed its Italpresse gauss TF5700 high pressure die casting (HPDC) machine at the company’s base in Jiangsu province, China. Jiangzhong has also purchased a Westomat 3100 from StrikoWestofen to integrate seamlessly with the machine.
• In September 2021, Hanon Systems announced the two site inaugurations in Hungary – a new greenfield production facility in Pécs and a building expansion in Rétság. Located in Baranya County, the new plant in Pécs increases production capacity for fluid transport products. The facility provides 22,464 square meters of manufacturing space and accommodates equipment, including forming, brazing, welding and bending, assembly lines, and testing for automotive air conditioning (A/C) lines. The building is equipped with modern machinery for horizontal die casting.

In February 2022, Berlin based construction technology company Flexcavo increases its capital by USD 8 million for its construction machinery fleet. In addition, planned capital will initially go for procuring newly constructed rental park in Maisach, Munich. Furthermore, with over 150 new construction machinery and equipment has already been planned by manufacturers JCB and Wacker Neuson for approximately 4,500 square metre site.

In january 2022, CanLift Equipment Ltd. has expanded its product line for construction machinery equpement under a stratgeic partnership with leading construction manufacturer Xuzhou Construction Machinery Group Co., Ltd to elevate the sales right of earthmoving equipement in Ontario. Further, this partnership shall open avenues for new relationships within the construction machinery industry.

In january 2022, Japan's largest construction machinery company Hitachi announced that it is seeling its 50% stakes of construction machinery fleet worth US$ 1.6 billion. In addition, Itochu will buy Hitachi's stake for 3,300 yen a share with Japan Industrial Partners. Furthermore, Hitachi currently owns a 51.5% stake in the construction machinery fleet.

In March 2021, Hitachi introduced the ZW220-7, Stage V-compliant wheel loader. With an operating weight of 18,190–19,450kg and a net power of 157kW (210hp), the ZW220-7 has a heaped bucket capacity (ISO) of 2.8–10.0 cubic meters.

In February 2021, Manitex Vall launched the all-new V 110 R Electric Mobile Crane. It is battery-operated and remote-controlled, with a capacity of up to 11,000 kg and a lifting height of up to 10.4 meters.

In January 2021, Caterpillar launched three new large excavators for the European, Asian, and African markets, with two ultra high definition demolition (UHD) machines. The large excavators are the Cat 352, 374, and 395, weighing in at 50 metric ton, 72 metric ton, and 94 metric ton, respectively.

• May 2022: The Indonesian division of used automotive marketplace Carsome signed a collaboration agreement with Indonesian Bank Jago Tbk for automotive financing to support Carsome Indonesia's business, which focuses on buying and selling used cars online.
• November 2021: Hyundai introduced the Hyundai Smart Deal, an innovative financing solution that enables customers to own a Hyundai car with significantly reduced costs of up to 50%. The program offers worry-free maintenance benefits and guarantees a remarkable 70% resale value when trading in the vehicle for a new Hyundai car after completing the last installment.
• September 2021: Mobil88 unveiled the Mo88i application, revolutionizing the process of buying and selling used cars. • January 2023: ZF, the world’s leading supplier of automotive cameras, developed Smart Camera 6, its next generation of cameras for the advanced development of urban and highway automated driving and safety systems. ZF also offers multi-sensor environmental monitoring through image processing module systems to offer 3D surround view, interior monitoring systems, and more.
• January 2023: Continental and Ambarella, Inc. announced a strategic partnership to jointly develop scalable, end-to-end hardware and software solutions based on artificial intelligence (AI) for assisted and automated driving (AD).

• August 2022: Ashok Leyland announced to launch an electric light commercial vehicle in India by the Mid of 2023.
• May 2022: Tata Motors signed a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with leading e-commerce companies and logistics service providers Amazon, BigBasket, City Link, DOT, Flipkart, LetsTransport, MoEVing, and Yelo EV. Through this MoU, the company will deliver 39,000 ACE electric vehicles to all the logistics service providers.
• May 2022: Tata Motors launched the Ace EV, the electric version of the popular Ace truck. The company has entered the upcoming segment of small electric trucks for freight delivery in the country. The new vehicle has powered by a 27kW (36hp) motor with 130Nm of peak torque and has a range of up to 158 KM on a single charge.
• February 2022: BYD unveiled a new all-electric Type A school bus in the United States. The battery-powered bus is available in three different lengths 26.7 feet (8.1 meters), 24.5 feet (7.45 meters), and 22.9 feet (7 meters), making it suitable for routes with fewer students. In addition, the BYD Type A is fitted with Predictive Stop Arm, which monitors approaching traffic and notifies students as they exit the bus when it is safe to cross.

January 2023: Panasonic Automotive Systems Company, United States, announced the launch of its nanoe X portable in-vehicle air cleaner designed to enhance and maintain cabin air purity in the North American market.

October 2022: Audi announced a collaboration with supplier MANN+HUMMEL to develop a particle filter for electric vehicles that effectively captures particulate matter from the environment.

• In May 2023, BharatBenz launches India's first truck driver training simulator. Daimler India Commercial Vehicles (DICV), the parent company of BharatBenz, has launched a truck driver training simulator specifically designed for heavy truck drivers, in a first for the Indian market.
• In December 2022, Tecknotrove Simulator System Pvt. Ltd launched the TechnoSIM forklift training simulator at a logistic and material handling expo in Chennai, India.
• In June 2022, Continental AG (Continental) joined the CITY project, an automated driving initiative in urban areas involving 15 companies, academic institutions, and research organizations. Continental developed solutions for human-machine interaction, intelligent crossings, specific driving features for inner-city intersections, and bottlenecks.
• In April 2022, VI-grade announced its complete installation and commissioning of one of the compact simulators at the Ford Motor Research and Engineering Center in Nanjing, China. In addition, the simulator tracks the 3D virtual data that simulates Ford China’s test tracks in Nanjing which will soon get integrated into the driving simulator. Furthermore, the simulator will also enable Ford engineers to evaluate vehicle real-time dynamics performance which primarily includes steering and handling capability.
• In March 2021, Volvo Group signed an agreement with NVIDIA to jointly develop the decision-making system of autonomous commercial vehicles and machines. Utilizing NVIDIA’s end-to-end artificial intelligence platform for training, simulation, and in-vehicle computing, the resulting system is expected to be designed to handle fully autonomous driving on public roads and highways safely.

• In September 2022, BultenAB and Polestar collaborated to develop a climate-neutral electric car by the year 2030. In this collaboration, BultenAB will supply climate-neutral and highly functional fasteners.
• In April 2022, Birmingham Fastener & Supply Company Inc. acquired Champion Sales and Manufacturing, Inc., one of the leading rubber gasket companies based in Magnolia, Texas. Through this acquisition, Birmingham Fastener & Supply Company Inc. enhances its product offering and manufacturing diversity across Texas.

• In December 2022, AutoNation Inc., one of America’s largest automotive retailers, announced the acquisition of RepairSmith, a full-service mobile solution for automotive repair and maintenance headquartered in Los Angeles, CA, with a significant operational footprint in the southern and western United States.
• In May 2022- American Tire Distributors and Monro, Inc. announced that they have entered into a definitive agreement according to which ATD will acquire Monro’s wholesale tire distribution assets, operating under the Tires Now name (“Tires Now”).
• In March 2022, Monro Inc. signed a definitive agreement to acquire Mountain View Tire & Service Inc., adding USD 45 million in expected annualized sales and expanding its presence in an attractive western region with a total of 116 stores.

• December, 2022: Online crane rental service based in Dubai MyCrane has its own operation in the United States. The company stated that it chose to set up its own operations in the United States rather than appointing a franchisee, as it has done in other locations.
• November, 2022: Maxim Crane Works L.P. has announced the launch of Maxim MarketplaceTM, a new online marketplace for used equipment sales. With hundreds of fleet-owned cranes and support equipment to sell, the US rental giant is refreshing its fleet via its own cutting-edge online used equipment sales platform developed in collaboration with Krank, the industry's first software developer.
• October, 2022: The 50-tonne 653 E Electro Battery is Sennebogen's first battery-powered telescopic crawler crane. It was created in collaboration with dealer Van den Heuvel for the Dutch crane rental and construction markets, and it features coordinated battery technology and analog charging management.
• March, 2022: MyCrane has released a free selector tool to assist users in determining the best crane for their lift, as well as the crane's capacity and optimal configuration. The company has completed its digital crane rental tool and improved the customer's work process.
