March 2024: Eaton, a US-based power management company, has introduced its latest modular data center solution. Eaton’s SmartRack modular data center integrates racks, cooling, and service enclosures, supporting equipment loads of up to 150kW. This new addition to its uninterruptible power supply (UPS) systems portfolio emphasizes energy efficiency and scalability. Designed to be compatible with both lithium-ion (Li-ion) and VRLA batteries, the compact Liebert APM2 can scale power output from 30kW to an impressive 600kW within a single unit. This CE-certified UPS system is offered at a 400V configuration and is available across diverse regions, including the Asia Pacific, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Latin America.
