They are located in Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates and produce value-added products. This expansion helps increase market penetration, strengthening distribution channels and client relationships.
- February 2022: Seara introduced Shawaya chicken, an innovative product under the frozen category. The chicken preparation is tailored according to the local taste and flavor preference.
- February 2022: Al Ain Farms has announced the launch of its 2270 sq. m. facility in Abu Dhabi. Al Ain Farms has increased its storage capacity for handling products, including chicken, to enhance its operational efficiency.

November 2023: Anko Food Machine Co. Ltd expanded its product portfolio by launching the HLT-700U Multipurpose Filling and Forming Machine. According to the company, the machine is equipped with a new filling system that can process a wide range of both cooked and raw ingredients to make dumplings and other products.
- In June 2023, Almarai Company signed a memorandum of understanding with the Ministry of Investment on June 6, 2023, to discuss ways to develop the food industry (including ready meals) in the country through new investment opportunities in the food sector, which has great potential that has contributed significantly to the arrival of these products to various regions of the country and contributing to increasing exports, regionally and internationally.
- In July 2022, BRF Sadia, a subsidiary of BRF SA, expanded its production capacity to 1,200 tons of food with an investment of USD 18 million in Al Joody at Dammam, Saudi Arabia. BRF Sadia's Halal-produced products are exported to 14 countries, with plans to expand into even more markets in the coming years.
- In June 2022, Siwar Food will launch a line of frozen meals and desserts. The convenience product line, which includes rice and pasta dishes, is available online in retail stores and at "Chef in a Box" vending machines at SAR 20. The machines have been installed in strategic locations throughout Riyadh, including universities, hospitals, and workplaces.

- In August 2022, unMEAT launched its new chilled meat products in the United States. The products are claimed to be plant-based meat products. Plant-based Luncheon product range offers various chilled canned meat that has American and Asian cuisine flavors. A few of the products include Luncheon Style Meat and Burger Style Luncheon Meat.
- In June 2022, Cinnabon, operating in the United States, launched chilled bakery products in the market. The products include Chocolate BonBites, retailed across Cinnabon's US bakeries and other third-party retailers such as mall bakeries, Maverick, and Pilot Flying J Travel Centers in the United States.
- In November 2022, Roha Group acquired Saraf Foods, a freeze-drying leader. With this acquisition, Roha further expanded its technology and product portfolio of dehydrated vegetables, fruits, and herbs in addition to its existing Newfoods plants in Italy. It added advanced technology like freeze-drying, air drying, and Individual Quick Freezing (IQF) of fruits, vegetables, spices, and herbs.
- In August 2022, Mixologist's Garden launched six freeze-dried garnishes for drinks in the United Kingdom. The product is 90% lighter than fresh fruit. The three citrus lines (Lime, Lemon, and Orange) and three berry lines (Strawberry, Blueberry, and Raspberry) come in ready-to-serve resealable packs with ultra-long shelf life.
- In February 2021, European Freeze Dry launched its latest ingredient, freeze-dried jackfruit, in Europe. It has versatile uses, its texture, and the opportunities for use in pot meals to replace pulled pork or chicken.
- July 2022: Herbalife Nutrition Company launched Fat Release, a supplement to help consumers who may overindulge during the week achieve and maintain their health and lifestyle goals. Fat Release is formulated with litramine, an ingredient derived from prickly pear, and is a patented cactus fiber ingredient that helps trim the fat from food. The new product comes in a powdered stick form and can be mixed with cold water or eaten straight out of the pack.
- March 2022: KaraMD launched Pure Health Apple Cider Vinegar Gummies, a vegan gummy designed to promote ketosis in the body, digestion regulation, weight management, and support higher levels of energy.

- June 2022: Packaged food major Kellogg split into three independent companies focusing on global snacking, North American cereals, and plant-based foods.
- August 2021: Walmart launched a new line of great-value products that will provide all the products with labeled GMO or NON-GMO products new line.
- June 2022: Umaro Foods' novel seaweed bacon was launched in several renowned United States restaurants. Umaro Foods introduced seaweed-based bacon into three US restaurants for the first time, allowing customers to try the brand's novel protein. UMARO bacon was featured in various specialty dishes at San Francisco's Michelin-starred Sorrel Restaurant, New York City's Egg Shop, and Nashville's D'Andrews Bakery and Cafe. The company intends to expand into more restaurants in the Bay Area, Los Angeles, and elsewhere.
- March 2022: Seaboard Foods, based in Merriam, Kan., launched its "top tier" of bacon under its Prairie Fresh USA Prime brand. The bacon brand extension began after the corporation introduced the pork brand.
- February 2022: Tyson pledged to invest USD 1.3 billion in automation over the next three years to increase manufacturing capacity and efficiency. In October 2022, Tyson said the new Kentucky bacon production plant would use "state-of-the-art" robotics and automated technologies.
