This system has a processing capacity of 250,000 tons per year for color-coded bagged municipal solid waste (MSW) and can sort up to 86,600 tons per year of organic waste.
- July 2024 - Cimbria introduced advanced optical sorters, offering precise material separation and enhancing plastic purification rates up to 99.99%. The software accounts for approximately 50% of an optical sorter's performance.
- July 2024: The World Bank has introduced a substantial USD 3.86 billion initiative, known as the “Scaling Up Energy Efficiency in Europe and Central Asia Program” (E3 Program), aimed at significantly enhancing energy efficiency in the region. Over its ambitious 10-year duration, the program seeks to save more than 63 terawatt hours (TWh) of energy—equivalent to Switzerland’s annual electricity production—and reduce CO2 emissions by 18.7 million metric tons. The program's initial projects will concentrate on improving energy efficiency in public facilities, residential buildings, industrial sectors, and district heating systems across the participating countries.

The valve holds certifications from UL132 and the American Society of Mechanical Engineers, supporting its relevance in the chemical industries for the upcoming forecast period.

- March 2022 - Monnit Corporation announced the availability of its intrinsically safe ALTA-ISX long-range wireless sensors to protect workers and facilities in industrial environments with explosive atmospheres. Monnit is releasing its first three sensors that are IECEx-certified-the ALTA-ISX Temperature and Dry Contact Sensors and the 300 PSIG Pressure Meter. IECEx is the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) System for Certification to Standards Relating to Equipment for Use in Explosive Atmospheres. By the end of 2022, Monnit will add three to six more sensors to its ALTA-ISX product line.
