Apart from sunscreen, cleansing, and skincare products that mark the defining feature of BASF, new arrivals, Postbiolift, and Phytocine,- impress visitors at the trade show. • In June of 2022: Glenmark Pharmaceuticals introduced the cutting-edge fixed-dose combination (FDC) medication Indacaterol + Mometasone for patients with uncontrolled asthma in India. Glenmark is the first business in India to commercialize the ground-breaking FDC of Indacaterol, a long-acting beta-agonist, and Mometasone Furoate, an inhaled corticosteroid that has been authorized by the Drug Controller General of India (DCGI),

In mild to moderate Covid-19 sufferers, the medication aids in the early treatment of clinical symptoms, according to the findings of double-blind, randomized controlled trials (RCT).

• July 2024 - Gerresheimer announced the acquisition of Bormioli Pharma for EUR 800 (USD 893.57 million) million. Bormioli Pharma produces primary packaging made of glass and plastic and dispensing systems for the pharmaceutical industry
• June 2024 - SCHOTT Hungary Kft. inaugurated production for pharmaceutical packaging products in Lukácsháza, Hungary. The facility will manufacture prefillable sterile glass syringes, doubling SCHOTT Pharma's production capacity for these products.
• March 2024 - Schott Pharma announced plans to build a new production site for syringes in Wilson, North Carolina, USA. The facility will produce prefillable polymer syringes for mRNA drugs and prefillable glass syringes for treatments such as diabetes or obesity."

• May 2024 - PT. SCHÜTZ Container Systems Indonesia inaugurated a new extrusion blow molding line at its Karawang facility. The company produces its PE bung barrel, the F1 220 litres, utilizing a sophisticated multi-layer process. This addition seamlessly integrates with Schütz'sestablished IBC product lineup. 

• July 2024: TerraCycle, a recycling company based in New Jersey, unveiled its Zero Waste Bags, aimed at enhancing recycling accessibility for Americans. Collaborating with over 20 collection service providers in 12 states, TerraCycle's Zero Waste Bags provide a doorstep solution for hard-to-recycle waste.
• July 2024: The National Environment Management Authority (NEMA) mandated an immediate shift to biodegradable garbage bags for collecting organic waste. This move underscores its commitment to promoting eco-friendly management of organic waste in the United States.

• January 2024 - The Fedrigoni group, a speciality paper manufacturer for luxury packaging and other creative applications, self-adhesive labels and materials, and RFID and connectivity solutions acquired Arjowiggins China. The paper factory in Quzhou manufactures transparent papers sold under the Gateway and Sylvicta brands for applications such as industrial design and graphics for food, consumer electronics, or luxury packaging located in the Zhejiang Province.
• December 2023 - The State Bank of India invested in the paper packaging industry by injecting INR 49.99 crore (USD 6.04 million) into Canpac Trends Private Limited, a company based in Ahmedabad specialising in paper-based packaging solutions. SBI invested in Canpac Trends with a view to capital appreciation, highlighting the growth and profitability potential of the paper packaging industry.

• August 2024: Nestlé Nigeria has introduced its iconic breakfast cereal, Golden Morn, now featuring sustainable packaging. This initiative aligns with Nestlé's global recycling vision. The new packaging highlights Nestlé's commitment to ensuring that over 95% of its plastic packaging is recyclable by 2025. Additionally, the packaging incorporates eco-friendly materials, further emphasizing Nestlé's dedication to sustainability.
• April 2024: Pharmaconex West Africa is set to debut in Nigeria. The event will spotlight Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs), Generic APIs, Machinery & Process, Packaging Materials, and Finished Dosage Forms (FDF). It's open to a wide array of professionals in the pharmaceutical and medical laboratory sectors, encompassing manufacturers, distributors, suppliers, consultants, researchers, and regulators.

• January 2024: Recircle Brands, a visionary company in the eco-friendly products sector, announced the launch of Bagups, a groundbreaking trash bag dispensing system.
