• February 2024: WePack, an independent contract packing specialist, partnered with software provider Nulogy at the Packaging Innovations & Empack 2024 Event. This collaboration highlighted WePack's dedication to enhancing the agility and resilience of its operations. Recognizing the need for a digital solution to improve responsiveness, WePack selected Nulogy’s Shop Floor Solution as the optimal choice.
• January 2024: Magnavale, a UK-based cold storage provider, announced the expansion of its contract packing, labeling, and date-coding lines at its Easton facility, allowing for a significant boost in capacity. Capable of adapting between ambient, chilled, and frozen applications, these new highly automated lines enable Magnavale Easton to significantly increase packing, labeling, and date-coding output and flexibly adjust to peak-demand periods.

• November 2023 - Australia’s Coopers Brewery announced that it experienced a rise in profit-before-tax and revenue. The revenue increased by 5.9% in FY 2023 compared to FY 2022 due to the adoption of a new contract packaging arrangement.
• August 2023 - PakTech opened a contract manufacturing facility in Victoria and a proprietary partnership with Visy, having experienced organic growth in Australia. PakTech forged a strategic partnership with Visy to align with PakTech's vision, i.e., products made and recycled in Australia and then repurposed into new offerings within the country. The establishment of this facility not only caters to the rising demand but also positions PakTech to support Australia's food, beverage, and consumer goods industries in meeting escalating ESG standards and the surging consumer appetite for eco-friendly practices.

• January 2023: Catalent announced that it had signed a development and license agreement with Ethicann Pharmaceuticals Inc., a Canadian/American specialty pharmaceutical company specializing in creating high-value cannabinoid drug therapies using Zydisorally disintegrating tablet (ODT) technology to advance Ethicann's clinical drug pipeline. Per the agreement, Catalent would use its Zydis technology to develop pharmaceutical products containing cannabidiol (CBD) and tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) for Ethicann's use in clinical trials for various conditions.
• March 2023: Biose Industria, a renowned leader in Live Biotech Process Development and Production (LBP), announced the opening of its new facility in Boston, Massachusetts. After Biose Industries' phenomenal success in developing and producing LBP processes and manufacturing worldwide, Biose's new facility will further strengthen its relationship with the US market.
• July 2023: Recipharm Opens New Analytical Laboratory in Bangalore, India, to Increase Global Testing Capabilities for Nitrosamines, Extractables, Leachables, and Elemental Impurity Testing. 5,000 Sq Ft. Laboratory will support Recipharm's existing analytical capacity to support biotech and pharma customers in the Research and Development of Oral Solids, Drug Delivery, Inhalation, Vaccine, and Injectables with Full cGMP Compliance.

• September 2023: WuXi Vaccines, a key pharmaceutical CDMO firm, introduced a standalone vaccines CDMO site in Suzhou, China. The expansion was expected to introduce enhanced capacity for both drug substances and drug products, offering comprehensive services for a range of vaccines. This move aimed to expedite project timelines for the company's global clients, covering everything from process and drug product development to manufacturing clinical-scale drug substances (DS) and small-to-medium sterile drug products (DP).
• March 2023: Samsung Biologics, a key CDMO company, announced the development of a fifth facility as part of the company's strategic growth plan to meet the growing demands in the market. The company planned to invest KRW 1.9 trillion (USD 1.44 billion) in the new plant and start construction during the first half of 2022, with the goal of starting operations in 2025.

May 2024: Tide Rock, a US-based buyout firm, announced the acquisition of Premier Packaging LLC, a contract packaging company. The acquisition will likely enhance Tide Rock's customer base as it will leverage Premier's contract packaging capabilities and help take its services to the next level in the North American market.

February 2024: WePack, an independent contract packing company, partnered with software provider Nulogy to digitalize its contract packing operations. The digitalization effort intends to enhance visibility and traceability over inventory and materials and improve forecasting, labor capacity, line efficiency, and quality control. The implementation at WePack's East Midlands, United Kingdom, production site was expected to be completed by Q2 2024.

• January 2024 - A new collaboration was announced jointly by FAMAR and Lavipharm, two leading pharmaceutical companies. FAMAR is a leading provider of development and manufacturing services for pharmaceutical and cosmetic products (CDMO) and one of the major CDMO players in Europe. Lavipharm is a research and development (R&D) company that manufactures, imports, sells, and distributes pharmaceuticals and healthcare products in Greece.
• January 2024 - Pluri, an Israeli biotechnology company, announced the launch of a new business division, “pluriCDMO," that will provide cell therapy manufacturing services as contract development and production organizations." The new division includes a 47,000-ft² good manufacturing practice (GMP) cell therapy production facility.
• October 2023 - IQVIA announced a strategic collaboration with Argenx to advance the treatment of patients with rare autoimmune diseases through innovative and integrated technology-enabled pharmacovigilance (PV) safety services and solutions.

• October 2023: Zwipe partnered with Schneider Electric's Security Solutions Group. Schneider Electric plans to introduce the Zwipe Access fingerprint-scanning smart card to its clientele. This card will be integrated with Schneider Electric's Continuum and Security Expert platforms, serving a client base from airports, transportation, healthcare, data centers, and more. 
• April 2023: Schneider Electric launched EcoCare for Modular Data Centers services membership. Members of this innovative service benefit from specialized expertise to maximize modular data centers' uptime with 24/7 proactive remote monitoring and condition-based maintenance.

• May 2024: Neopac unveiled a new cosmetics tube line at its Wilson, NC facility. This cutting-edge tube line will enhance production capacity, allowing for an additional output of 70 million tubes annually. Furthermore, the company expanded its EcoDesign portfolio by introducing Polyfoil Sensation. This recycling-ready barrier tube, tailored for cosmetic use, has various applicator choices: roll-on, lip-head, or airless pump. Crafted from polypropylene (PP), these tubes are available in either a soft touch or a high gloss metallic finish.
• May 2024: Cosmopak USA LLC, a prominent beauty manufacturer, unveiled its newest collection, “Waves of Beauty.” This collection showcases a diverse range of trendy stock molds for bottles, tubes, vials, and sticks. It underscores Cosmopak's commitment to eco-forward materials, prominently featuring glass, aluminum, and mono-materials.
• March 2024: APC Packaging unveiled its latest offering: the EcoReady All Plastic Airless Pump (EAPP), tailored specifically for skincare products. This innovative pump boasts cutting-edge airless technology and is crafted entirely from premium, durable plastic, eliminating the need for a conventional metal spring. Constructed from polypropylene (PP) material, the pump features a cap, actuator, and bottle and is offered in capacities of 15 ml, 30 ml, and 50 ml.

• March 2024: SCREEN Europe partnered with Two Sides, a prominent print and paper advocacy group based in the United Kingdom. By aligning with Two Sides, SCREEN Europe underscored its commitment to championing the importance of print, paper, and paper packaging. Together, they aim to highlight these mediums as essential components of the media industry and as sustainable solutions for packaging and product protection.
• February 2024: Mondi increased the production of its paper-based EcoWicketBags to cater to the increased need for eco-friendly packaging in the home and personal care industries. These bags, crafted from renewable materials, align with the 4evergreen guidelines, ensuring they can be easily recycled in standard European paper mills. Notably, Europe boasts an impressive 82% recycling rate for paper-based packaging. By offering these EcoWicketBags, Mondi is expected to empower HPC industry players to align with their sustainability targets and embrace the circular economy ethos.

• May 2024: The American Packaging Corporation expanded its operations by opening a second production unit for digitally printed flexible packaging at its Wisconsin Center of Excellence. The company invested in this new unit's packaging equipment and service capabilities, including digital printing, laminating, registered coating, and pouch-making machinery. APC established a rapid response library of stocked packaging materials designed to fulfill orders within 15 days or less.
• February 2024: Resource Label Group LLC (RLG) announced the formation of a specialty pharmaceutical and healthcare packaging division named RLG Healthcare. The formation of RLG Healthcare is expected to help the company offer packaging solutions such as labels, inserts, cartons, and others for the pharmaceutical and healthcare sector in the region.
