- March 2022: KBR and ExxonMobil Catalysts and Licensing LLC ("ExxonMobil") will collaborate to bring significant advancements to propane dehydrogenation (PDH) technology. Under the collaboration, ExxonMobil's new proprietary catalyst technology will be combined with KBR's proprietary K-PRO Propane Dehydrogenation (PDH) technology to convert propane into propylene.
- October 2021: Suburban Propane Partners LP announced the extension of its 2020 agreement with U-Haul to provide eco-friendly and renewable propane in California.

- December 2022: Yingde Gases announced the completion of the purchase of a 100% share in Shanghai Nanhua Industrial Gas Company Ltd. Yingde Gases' first packaged gas purchase boosted the group's impact in industrial packaged gas and medical oxygen. The purchase is a step forward in the organization's strategic packaged-gas strategy, indicating the group's entry into the market of packaged gas.
- July 2022: Yingde Gases Group announced its collaboration agreement with China Hydrogen, through which the two companies will jointly invest in and establish green hydrogen and green ammonia facilities in Ordos, Inner Mongolia, which will be Yingde Gases' first green ammonia project.
- December 2022: Air Products announced that it had signed an agreement with Saudi Ground Services (SGS) to demonstrate Hydrogen for Mobility at Dammam Airport, Saudi Arabia. Saudi Ground Services provides a wide range of ground handling services throughout the entire network of airlines in Saudi Arabia, from passenger services and baggage handling to fleet solutions and cargo services.
- January 2022: Air Products completed the acquisition of Air Liquide's industrial merchant gases business in the United Arab Emirates, which includes liquid bulk, packaged gases, and specialty gases, and also acquired Air Liquide's majority share in Middle East Carbon Dioxide W.L.L. (MECD), for a liquid carbon dioxide production facility in Bahrain.
- February 2023: Linde announced a long-term arrangement with OCI to supply clean hydrogen and other industrial gases to the company's new world-scale blue ammonia factory in Beaumont, Texas. Linde will construct, own, and manage an on-site complex that will supply OCI's 1.1 million tons of blue ammonia production with clean hydrogen and nitrogen per year. Linde will provide clean hydrogen to OCI by sequestering more than 1.7 million tons of CO2 emissions yearly.
- February 2023: Air Products (a major gas separation and purification membrane producer) introduced its new product- PRISM InertPro Nitrogen Membrane System- at the Middle East Oil and Gas Show in Bahrain. The PRISM InertPro is a new nitrogen membrane system for the energy and oil and gas industry that is based on an innovative, flexible modular platform providing nitrogen systems exhibiting world-class efficiencies.
- July 2022: Maire Tecnimont SpA announced that NextChem was awarded a contract by Storengy to study waste wood and solid recovered fuel conversion plant to produce biomethane in France. NextChem is expected to be responsible for the engineering services and cost estimating for the syngas purification, methanation unit, and methane upgrading.
- June 2022: Shell PLC entered a decarbonization agreement with Tokyo Gas Co. and Osaka Gas Co. for the natural gas and carbon capture, utilization, and sequestration (CCUS) projects. By 2030, these Japanese companies could aim to replace 1% of the gas currently delivered with biomethane-based synthetic gas, or syngas.
- May 2022: Pertamina and Air Liquide Indonesia agreed to collaborate in developing carbon capture and utilization technology at the Balikpapan refinery processing unit. Within the framework of this joint study agreement, Pertamina and Air Liquide are expected to conduct a joint study on CO2 syngas and Flue-Gas capture technology application from hydrogen production.

- May 2024: Ampacet expanded its ELTech portfolio, introducing a series of high-performance color masterbatches. These masterbatches utilize a polybutylene terephthalate (PBT) carrier resin and are specifically tailored for optical fiber cable PBT jacketing. - May 2024: Cabot Corporation launched its REPLASBLAK universal circular black masterbatches crafted from certified sustainable materials. This launch marked the introduction of two pioneering products, poised to be the industry's inaugural universal circular black masterbatches boasting content certified by the International Sustainability & Carbon Certification (ISCC PLUS).
- July 2024: Rashtriya Chemicals and Fertilizers Limited approved a contract with Topsoe AS to revamp its ammonia plant in Thal, Maharashtra, India. The contract includes procuring a basic engineering design package and supplying proprietary equipment and catalysts. This project targets reducing the plant's specific energy consumption.
- October 2023: Gentari, the clean energy arm of Malaysia’s Petroliam Nasional Bhd (Petronas), and AM Green, a producer specializing in hydrogen and ammonia, signed agreements with Singapore's investment entity, GIC. Together, they committed a substantial USD 2 billion to a shared goal of producing 5,000 kilotons annually of green ammonia in India by 2030.
- July 2024: CEMEX SAB de CV entered a joint venture with Couch Aggregates, a sand and gravel supplier, and Premier Holdings, a distributor of marine bulk products. This collaboration aims to bolster Cemex's aggregate reserves by focusing on the production, distribution, and sale of sand, gravel, and limestone in the Mid-South United States. As a result, Cemex is set to enhance its presence and offer improved, expedited services to this burgeoning region.
- July 2024: Heidelberg Materials acquired Carver Sand & Gravel, the largest aggregates producer in Albany, New York. This acquisition boosted the company’s operations, including crushed stone, sand and gravel, asphalt, and logistics, with a combined material capacity of around 3 million metric tons annually.
- June 2024: SHENMAO Technology Inc. launched a new thermal fatigue-resistant solder paste, PF918-P250. This paste can meet high-reliability requirements and offers advanced features and superior performance for electronic products requiring exceptional durability.
- October 2023: AIM Solder (UK) Ltd acquired William Rowland Limited’s solder products business, encompassing solders and alloys. Through this acquisition, the company would expand its capabilities and enhance customer offerings in the metal industry.
- September 2023: Stannol GmbH & Co. KG launched its new SP6000 solder paste in Munich. This solder paste has been developed as a standard for use with the alloys TSC305 (Sn96.5Ag3Cu0.5) T4 and TSC105 (Sn98.5Ag1Cu0.5) T4. Compared to conventional solder pastes, it can save more than 85% of CO2 emissions.
- July 2024: FUCHUS acquired the LUBCON Group, a high-performance specialty lubricant manufacturer. This strategic move bolsters FUCHUS's future prospects and enhances its global competitive edge. Through the acquisition, the enhanced product portfolio of the company will also help in serving markets in Argentina.
- March 2023: The Saudi Arabian Oil Company ('Aramco') completed the acquisition of the Valvoline Inc. global products business ('Valvoline Global Operations') for USD 2.65 billion through one of its wholly-owned subsidiaries. With this acquisition, Aramco not only expanded its product portfolio but also bolstered its foothold in Argentina.
