- February 2023: Rhoss introduced the POKER290 high-temperature, low GWP reversible heat pumps with a scroll compressor. POKER290 is a reversible heat pump with a scroll compressor that operates at high temperatures and low GWP. The new range is available in one size and has a capacity ranging from around 48 to 190kW. The new integrated sequencer SDR can connect with up to 4 units.
- October 2022: Midea's new air-to-water (ATW) heat pump production facility in Italy officially began construction, including production lines, a heat pump R&D center, and supporting facilities. Since Clivetis is a premium commercial air-conditioning brand owned by Midea Building Technology, the base is in Clivetfacility in Feltre, Italy. The base received a EUR 60 million (USD 64.4 million) investment, and its annual ATW heat pump capacity is expected to reach 300,000 units when it opens in the second quarter of 2024.
