  • October 2022: Midea's new air-to-water (ATW) heat pump production facility in Italy officially began construction, including production lines, a heat pump R&D center, and supporting facilities. Since Clivetis is a premium commercial air-conditioning brand owned by Midea Building Technology, the base is in Clivetfacility in Feltre, Italy. The base received a EUR 60 million (USD 64.4 million) investment, and its annual ATW heat pump capacity is expected to reach 300,000 units when it opens in the second quarter of 2024.
