Brazil Dominates the South American market

The Brazilian feed sector is the third-largest feed sector in the world, mainly due to the high amount of raw materials produced in this country and the size of the country. According to Alltech Global feed survey, In the year 2019, the total feed production in Brazil was 69.5 million metric tons, of which 32.1 million metric tons were for broilers, 17 million metric tons for pigs, and the rest for dairy cows, layers and pets. Brazil is one of the major countries among the South American region for feed probiotics because of increasing meat consumption in the country, which reached approximately 29 million tons in 2018. The increasing demand for meat exports is also driving the market.
