- In May 2023, Bayanat, an ADX-listed public company and developer of AI-powered geospatial solutions, has launched a comprehensive Space Programme with AI Yah Satellite Communications Company PJSC (Yahsat), the UAE's premier satellite solutions provider. The Programme intends to develop the UAE's national satellite remote sensing and Earth Observation (EO) capabilities. This programme is part of the two firms' collaboration with ICEYE, a well-known SAR satellite. The expansion intends to investigate economic potential in the UAE space environment as well as the worldwide EO market.
- In March 2022, Moro Hub, a subsidiary of Digital DEWA, Dubai Electricity and Water Authority's (DEWA) digital arm, has announced Geospatial (GIS) Services to help governments and businesses in the area grow their operations and meet their digital transformation goals. Moro Hub will provide three types of GIS services: GIS Professional Services for the development of GIS systems, GIS Managed Services for the operation of GIS systems, and GIS Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) via its modern and secure cloud housed in the UAE.
