- In May 2022, Mercedes-AMG unveiled its Vision AMG all-electric concept car. The four-door coupé is built on the AMG. A platform is being developed in Affalterbach for all-electric performance models. The Vision AMG's innovative Axial Flux Motor was developed by Mercedes-Benz's wholly owned subsidiary YASA. Its compact and lightweight design provides significantly more power than conventional electric motors.
- March 2022: Toyota Motors Europe (TME) announced a major new contract with INDICATA Europe to roll out its used car pricing data to 13 countries over the next two months. INDICATA developed a bespoke reporting suite for TME that tracks all the online used Toyota and Lexus adverts from its dealer networks across Europe and presented it into an easy-to-read dashboard for each country.

In August 2022, Kalmar which is the part of Cargotec got the supply deal for the three T2i terminal tractor at the Maldives Port Limited. The orders are scheduled to be delivered by Q1 of 2023.
In June 2022, côte d'ivoire terminal has announced the delivery of 14 new APM 75T HE electric terminal tractor supplied by Gaussin for the usage of transportation services at port of Abidjan. Although, the order was made of 36 terminal tractor units which will be supplied in phases by end of 2022.

In September 2021, Eli Electric Vehicles, a compact EV manufacturer, announced the production of its flagship Eli Zero. Classified as a light quadricycle, Eli Zero features batteries that have a 5.8 kWh capacity, a range of 50 miles, and can charge from 0 to 100% in 2.5 hours at 220 volts.
In January 2021, Polish EV startup Triggo unveiled an electric quadricycle Triggo EV targeted for car-sharing and package delivery purposes. The Triggo EV has a top speed of 90 km/h (56 mph). Powered by two brushless DC motors at the rear, with a battery configuration comprising four 3.5-kWh batteries, the EV offers a per-charge range of up to 140 km.
